A Customer Master - MDM - Implementation
Presentation Abstract:
In this presentation, Steve Thompson will walk through the genesis of the company's Customer Master implementation project, from the business case, solution selection and architecture, to implementation challenges, how the system is used, and next steps.
Speaker's Biography:
Stephen Thompson, Genentech, Inc.
Stephen Thompson is a Senior Manager at Genentech serving as the business owner for the newly launched Customer Master system within Genentech. Stephen has over 7 years of IT project management experience and 6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with an emphasis on academic/institutional selling. As a principal consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM, Stephen has led Siebel implementations for numerous Fortune 500 companies in the electronics industry with a focus on sales and customer master implementations. He has also served as business owner for SFA applications development for Pfizer as a member of the Information Sciences group, working in partnership with Dendrite, a prominent SFA solutions provider in the pharmaceutical industry. He also provided sales input into the development of Pfizer's core master systems, which included physician, hospital, and payer master systems. His sales experience provides a unique foundation and constant drive to focus on the business benefit that can be derived from IT projects.
